CONCRETE OR COATED SUPPORT
The polygym comfort support can be concrete or coated and
must be laid in accordance with the current levelling standards. For a coated
support, it must be 7cm thick (in two layers 4 + 3cm) and for the concrete
support, 12cm minimum in thickness, with isolation joints approximately every
20 m2.
RUBBER UNDERCOAT AND PORE FILLING
The 9mm rubber undercoat is glued to the support. It represents
the comfort layer of the court. Prefabricated, it is made up of agglomoreated
black rubber granules with colourless polyeurathane resin. The rubber undercoat
must be pore filled with polyeurathane resin to fill any cells in the surface.
BASE RESIN
The base resin is then poured onto the fill to about 2mm thickness.
Coloured, Polygym comfort resin gives the Polygym comfort complex
all the play quality required to conform to the European standard NF P 90
103.
FINISH APPLICATION
Multisport flooring/
Gyms
The finish is the final layer of the Polygym confort
protection system. It makes the surface easy to maintain. It is coloured and
exists in a great many different colours, for gym personalisation.
TRACING THE PLAY LINES
FINISHED GYM
FUN COURT
The play lines are marked in accordance with the customer's
requirements (basketball, tennis, handball, bandminton) and according to the
priorities given to one particular sport. Attention should be made not trace
too many lines on the court as they may become confused...
After a few days of drying, the gymnasium is ready for use.
We recommend you take great care of it and maintain it regularly.
Generally, gym floors are green but we recommend an innovative new look with
bright colours such a blue or orange without conflicting with the traced official
lines for volleyball and basketball.
Fun Court is a wooden or aluminium structure depending on the choice of the
customer. It allows young people the opportunity to develop in a safe space
and to practise their favourite sports (handball, basketball, football, volleyball,
badminton) for a flexible and less rigid floor then concrete or tarmac.
