The drainage network must be perfectly
executed to evacuate rainwater that will percolated through the porous concrete
layer.
It must be well spread and lead to a tank to avoid any stagnation of water
beneath the court.

The court foundation is built in chalky materials with 20/40 grading. Around 15cm thick, it is the base on which the porous concrete court will rest. It must be solid, compact and let the rainwater pass through it.

The foundation layer leaves large holes linked to the large size of the materials used. For a smooth, uniform surface ready for the porous concrete, the filling layer with small sized gravel is spread over the entire surface.

The fence of a tennis court can be galvanised or galvanised and plasticised. At a minimum of 3 metres high, the height can be modulated in terms of desires of the users and the court configuration. A lowered part along the length of the court - called the railing - is often proposed to private court owners, for aesthetic reasons.

The porous concrete mix - which is manufactured
on site - is lain in bands the length of the tennis court. The bands are made
of sections separated between each other by expansion joints and held together
by galvanised iron bars.
The porous concrete is smoothed and then flattened with a roller to give it
its resistance while retaining its porosity.
The layer is 8 to 9cm thick and the materials used conform to the standards
imposed by FFT specifications.
The finished new court is grey and must
be painted. The fences are not necessarily changed and the fences removed
for machine access are reinstalled.
Before being painted, the court will be scraped with a special tool that removes
the small pieces of gravel that are on the surface.
Painting gives a perfect finish to the
work, protecting the porous concrete and allowing players to play in perfect
conditions, in terms of safety and aesthetics.
Often the court colours are chosen from a range of standard colours, but they
can also be designed on request.
Generally, our porous concrete tennis courts are two colours, red and green. We also offer our customers a range of traditional and original colours associated, which make the surfaces more attractive. Here is a court in two shades of red.
